Shanghai airport pickup checklist: flights, meeting exits and luggage

2026-09-22 · Shanghai Charter Car

Evergreen guidance

For travellers booking arrivals at Shanghai Pudong or Hongqiao. This is not a live flight, exit-change or traffic notice. Landing time is not the same as meeting time: baggage collection and arrival procedures vary.

Send complete flight details

Provide the flight number, arrival date, departure city, arrival airport and terminal. For overnight journeys, confirm the arrival date rather than only the departure date. Add the operating airline for a codeshare and report any changes.

Recheck official flight information

The Shanghai Airport website offers a flight-information lookup. Recheck before departure and after landing; ask your operating airline if its notifications differ. No individual flight status has been verified for this article.

Agree on the name-board meeting point

Shanghai Charter Car can arrange arrivals-exit name-board pickup. Confirm the terminal, specific exit, name-board spelling and contact details in advance; reconfirm changes. The meeting exit and vehicle boarding point may differ, so follow the agreed meeting instructions.

Describe luggage as well as passengers

Provide adult and child numbers, large and small bags, strollers and any child-seat needs. Confirm actual passenger and luggage capacity, the vehicle and full quote before booking. Request an English or Japanese-speaking driver in advance and confirm availability.

Message checklist

Arrival date; flight number; airport and terminal; passenger count; luggage; destination address; preferred driver language; name-board text. Confirm waiting, cancellation and change charges for your own booking.
